Today is my 31st birthday. I’ve noticed as you get older, birthdays don’t seem to be as big of a deal as they used to be. Not many people have wished me a happy birthday. Oh well. I bought a cake for myself (since family is all on the other side of the country) and it wasn’t very good. Maybe next time I’ll order a cake that has the right frosting I like on it. Here’s a picture of it anyway:
It’s hard to believe I’m 31, sometimes I don’t feel like it. I’m going to still try to enjoy the rest of my day even though it is uneventful.

Happy belated birthday!
I agree, as you get older, birthdays seem less of a special day and more like any other. I suppose it’s from the fact that we start celebrating them so much that it just gets tiring to continue.
& aw, I’m sorry the cake didn’t taste good! It looks wonderful, though. I suppose that’s how cake design can throw people off, heh. I hope you had a good rest of the day!
Happy Birthday Erin! I hope you had a good day
As you get older, I’ve found that birthdays stop being a big occasion and just another day of the year. It is fun when you do get to celebrate it though. Hope next year is better for you!
